Your instructor's primary mission is to guide you on routes adapted to your level, to give you tips and to reassure you, so you improve over the course of the week. This Queyras e-MTB holiday is designed with easy, rolling routes going through spectacular mountain landscapes, larch forests, high mountain pastures and Queyrassins villages, …in sum, all the must-sees of the Queyras region in a relaxed atmosphere!

YOUR PROGRAMME

We'll start with a nice easy outing to get back in the saddle, get used to your new set-up and review the basic technical skills required to ride your MTB with confidence. We'll then set off to discover the must-sees of the Queyras region:

- D1/ Aigues Valley

A great warm-up day to discover the quaint villages of Pierre Grosse, Molines en Queyras and St Véran (your guide give you a tour), followed by an excursion in the Vallée de la Blanche to admire the glacial lakes nestled at the foot of Tête d’Estoilies, visit the renovated refuge to sample some blackberry tart and enjoy the sunshine before heading back down through mountain pastures and larch forests.

- D2 / Souliers & Lac de roue

In the "limestone Queyras" area today and we’re going to head up hill to the imposing Fort de Château Queyras to reach the hidden Souliers Valley. Take the time to admire the splendid Lac de Roue where the colours change with every season. This is the midpoint of our tour so we will treat ourselves to lunch at a refuge!

- D3/ Ceillac Valleys

The two valleys in Ceillac are unmissable and are often said to be the best place to go on an e-MTB ride. Riding opposite the La Font Sancte massif, with the Queyras summit, gushing mountain streams where you can enjoy a quick dip, striking forests and geology, villages frozen in time, you'll realise what a great place the Queyras region is.

D4/- Haut Guil Valley

Departing from Abries village and heading to the mystical Mount Viso! 3844m high and situated just over the other side of the Italian boarder... After a picnic stop in the Haut Guil Valley, and if we still have the time and the energy, we'll pedal in the other direction and visit the hamlets in theValpreyvere Valley.

- D5/Mountain pastures and panoramas…

To finish the week, we'll try to head up hill to find beautiful mountain pastures and guaranteed stunning views, and then loop back to the start of our bike riding circuit. As you'll obviously have improved, your guide may even take you on a few rolling singletracks to end the week? To be continued...
